Any thoughts out there on best way from Rome to Anzio - train or bus? Thanks

You can travel to Anzio from Rome (Roma Termini) via Regional train & it takes a little over one hour.

You may check train schedules here:http://www.trenitalia.com

You will want to type:

From: Roma Termini
To: Anzio

Check within 7 days from today to see train schedules for Regionale trains.

You don't need to buy your Regional tickets in advance as there is no price break & tickets ordered online come with some restrictions.

BTW, there is an interesting APP

you might like to use.

Its subtitle is:
Discover How to Get Anywhere.

It shows a variety of route options, duration of trip, costs, and by touching the icon, you can see Station and Line info and a Schedule link.
