We are booked on an RS Sicily tour in early May. Currently flights (not yet booked) through AAA depart Seatac at 7:35 am May 6, layover in Atlanta from 3:25-8:05 pm, then on to CDG, arrival 10:35 am May 7, layover until 4:25, arrive Palermo 6:50 pm. My question (finally!) where to find antigen test before tour starts the next day at 3. I think RS wants PCR or proctored antigen test no more than 48 hours before tour starts. Testing sites at Seatac aren't open that early. It looks like some form of testing is available in Atlanta but they close at 6, so not sure if we could get done in that window. CDG, according to one site I saw, does testing but not for transit passengers. Palermo seems to do some testing, but not sure if they'd still be open at 7 pm or later. Tour starts on a Sunday, so wondering if any pharmacy would be open that morning for testing, plus we're interested in a small wine and cheese tasting session that starts at 11:30 am that day and goes for a couple of hours. Does anybody have any recent experience or knowledge about what's available? If we did a proctored test, how available are those proctors Saturday nights or Sunday mornings? (I know RS may cancel this requirement before May, but oth, he may not.)
You should find the info here reassuring.

I had seen that information, but wondered if those testing sites would be open on a Sunday. I think I've heard that Italy shuts down on Sundays to some extent. Thank you for the link.
Telemedicine tests are accepted by RS. Why not just bring a Binax Now Covid AG Card Home Test (has a RX only on lower left hand corner of box)? It takes about 20 minutes and can be completed anywhere you have internet. I've used a few times now and it works quite well.
