Getting Married in Italy

Hi, my fiance and I would like to get married in Italy in October of this year. We are thinking about either Florence/Tuscanny or Rovello/Amalfi. We would appreciate your comments and tips on either location, wedding planners, etc. Thanks! Janie

Janie, Were you planning to have a religious ceremony or a civil ceremony? Weddings in Italy can be "complicated" because of the bureaucracy, so be sure to allow lots of "lead time" to make arrangements. You might find it helpful to have a look at these websites: Getting Married in Italy Italy Weddings Romantic Weddings U.S. State Dept. There are LOTS of other websites, but those are a few to have a look at. The weather will probably be better in Ravello / Amalfi Coast at that time of year, although it could also be nice in Tuscany.
