Getting from Termini to Ancient Appian Way, also to St. Paul's outside wall

Anyone help on the best way to get from the Termini area by bus, metro, whatever to Appian Way----also best way to get to St. Paul's Outside the Walls church from Termini--can they be done in the same trip? I want to make as few changes, transfers as possible

Do you have the RS Rome book? I'm pretty sure he covers that in extensive detail.

St Paul's outside the walls was an easy subway ride. I seem to remember it being a stop or two beyond Pyramide (B line?). The stop is less than 2 blocks from the basilica. Just search online for a Rome Metro map. Appian way I remember as being more accessible by bus, but someone undoubtly has a better memory of that than I do.

In his Rome book, Rick says you can ride the Archeobus from Termini. It stops at all the key attractions. Bus runs every 40 minutes.
