What's the fastest way to get to Ascoli Piceno from Rome (and back?)? I'm thinking a bus or train but all I can find online is a bus with stops that takes over 5 hours. Is this right? Thanks!

According to rome2rio.com, there is a 'Start SPA' bus that takes 3
hours & 12 minutes from Rome to Ascoli Piceno.You can take the bus at the Fiumicino Airport or in Rome near the
train station (Roma Termini ) @ Viale Castro Pretorio 84 (about 5
blocks from termini).This is the bus route you want: 'Ascoli Piceno - Roma - Ciampino -
