I will be traveling from Siena to Rome and will get into Roma Tiburtina station at 8:55AM on Saturday Nov 8. I need to get over to the Roma Termini station for my next connection to Bari. I understand there is a subway you can take to the Roma Termini station that takes about 7 minutes. I think I have enough time to do this as my Rome-Bari train leaves at 10AM. If I buy a ticket on line for a certain time say 9:14 and miss it, does anyone know if I can use that ticket on the next available subway train? Thanks.
Why do you need to buy in advance? It’s a subway not an airplane. Buy the ticket when you get there like you would do in NYC. You can even use the ATAC App or tap and go at the turnstiles.
I am getting in on this late as the person asking was going yesterday Nov.8. But to let others know that Rome Metro is "TAP & GO"
No tickets needed. Same as Leonardo Express from FCO to Termini Station Rome.
We used the train from the airport to Roma Termini train station this year. There is a ticket kiosk that is easy to use and you can buy the t rip to the train station and the train from Rome to wherever.
Not sure a little oner an hour is enough. trains about every half hour and the train takes 32 minutes.

If your bus arrives on time, you will have plenty of time to get to Termini via Metro from Tiburtina. Allow about 10 minutes to get from the platform to your train on the upper level.

The OP — who traveled this past weekend — wasn't going from the airport into town.
