We are arriving at FCO at 7:30 pm and need to get to our Airbnb near Vatican City. What is the easiest way to do this without costing an arm and a leg?

Taxi is fixed rate 48 euros
Door to door
Just exit the terminal and get in the official taxi line
Do not go with anyone that approaches you as a taxi, they are not legit
We just hand the driver our address and a 50 euro bill, although tip is not necessary.
ETA
Taxi is not the “cheapest” option but certainly is the easiest.
Alternatives are hire a private transfer service, many can be found here or Google
Or Public transport Leonardo Express train/ metro combo.

We can highly recommend romashuttle.com and have used them many times. The cost is between 45€ - 48€ for door to door service.
