Was finding it hard to find travel from Assisi to island of Venice. Does anyone have any recommendations on travel? Was Traveling from Rome to Assisi, by train and was hopping to do the same from Assisi to Venice.
The next part of my questions is how to get form where the train would drop us off to San Marco Plaza
It looks like it would be a long trip by train from Assisi to Venezia Santa Lucia. I found 5 daily trains that take between 5:44 and 5:59 to reach Venice and you will need to change in Florence to a Eurostar train requiring seat resevations. Once at Santa Lucia you can take a vaporetto boat right behind the train station to Piazza San Marco.
