Getting from a hotel outside of Rome into Rome

My travel partner and I are staying at a hotel about 10 miles east of Rome. The address is Via Frascati, 49 00040 Monte Porzio Catone (RM). We will have a rental car but really don't want to drive in Rome. Can anyone recommend a place to leave the car near our hotel or closer to the city and catch a train or other public transportation into the city?

Thanks so much for the suggestions. I was hestitant to email the hotel because I'd have to use English but I guess I should give it a shot anyway!

Elaine, is there any way you can email the hotel? They should know of trains, metros or buses that you should be able to use to get into town. If there is nothing close by they should be able to tell you how to get to the closest place to park your car and then take public transport. Donna

Elaine:
You can take the ATAC train FR4 or FR6 from in or near Frascati. Check with your hotel on parking possibilities near the stations. The FR4 leaves from "downtown" Frascati, while the FR6 leaves from near the A1. Either way I think it is about a 20 minute ride to Termini. You can research more at http://www.atac.roma.it. But as mentioned above, your hotel is a great resource to consult.

Trust me, the hotel knows how to use English. They spend most of their time dealing with English speaking tourists like you.
