Getting Da Vinci Last Supper Tickets

Every morning at 5am, the alarm goes off. What am I doing? I’m waiting for Santa Maria della Grazie to drop the next batch of tickets to see Da Vinci’s last supper. Nothing for days.

Finally, triumph! The ticket drop has just occurred and I’ve got the cream of the crop. Except for the one day I’m in Milan…Sunday, October the 4th. 2026. No tickets that day.

Lo and behold, I find out, they’re set aside in a separate drop for locals! I know they become available Wednesday at noon the week before. My question: are there any special tricks to getting that batch? Anybody know any inside info? Or do I just go to the website on Wednesday, say my prayers at 11:59, and type as fast as I can?

Hi, Giangilberto from Milan, so before getting to the point I can tell you that the ticket for the Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci is one of those that I believe is one of the most scammed in Italy, the most counterfeit ticket you could find if you do a Google search maybe tickets ranging from 60-70-80 euros.
My advice is to go only and exclusively to the official website of the Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci which from there will redirect you to the official reseller which is Viva ticket.
So the only way I know is the official website and I'll give you the link below. The official website officially says that, as you rightly pointed out, additional tickets are put on sale every Wednesday at noon for the entire following week through the Viva ticket, so I personally don't know any other ways. And if I were you, I wouldn't even go and get tickets from reseller because you really risk being ripped off.
So yes my only advice is to wait and maybe even say a few prayers in the hope of finding tickets for the day you need them.

Hi, Sunday October 4th is the first Sunday of the month, which is free in many museums, including The Last Supper.

It is very difficult to get tickets on free Sundays, you can try the Wednesday before, or directly at the ticket office on the day, but there isn't much more you can do...

As explained, entry to see The Last Supper is free on the first Sunday of the month. However, you still need to get tickets to enter as there are strict limits to number of people that can enter the room at a time.

Free entry tickets for the first Sundays of the month will be only made available online starting from 12pm of the previous Wednesday.

You will be allowed to buy a maximum number of 5 tickets

Group visits are not allowed

Official guided tours and workshops will not be provided

Change of name on tickets is not allowed
