Does Uber or Lyft operate in Tuscany? Rather than renting a car or doing a tour, we would like to find a service that could drop us off and pick us up at say Siena, Montepulciano, etc. Our hotel is located between Montepulciano and Pienza.

Lyft and Uber isn't really an option in Tuscany. But you could hire a car and driver for excursions.

Thx Nancy...we have checked that out and the one that was recommended was 350€ for 8 hrs...with many of those hours spent by the driver sitting while we check out the Town.

You are in luck the bus goes to all t(hose villages. I did it myself. Just make sure of last bus on schedule.

I think your best option is to contact your agriturismo, to see if a bus does stop anywhere near it, and have them send you a bus timetable.
Most agriturismos are located a mile or two outside of town. If this is the case, a car is not optitional but mandatory. You're other course would be to change your locatation.
Otherwise you'd be stuck on the property.
