Hello, we will be in Milan in June. We plan on being there Thursday probably late since we will be coming from Wengen Switzerland. We have tickets to the last supper the next day on Friday and want to go to Lake Como on Saturday which is our last day before heading home on Sunday. My question is would it be worth it to buy a Milan pass that included activities and transportation, we want to see the main attractions in Milan especially the Duomo. Not sure the cost of getting around. Also need transportation to Linate airport.
www.rome2rio.com will show you the transportation options. It has links to the companies providing the transportation. Always check the specific transportation company for actual times.
I know you’ve listed Wengen, Milan & Lake Como. An option that could be much simpler would be to stop on the way from Wengen to Milan. Stresa on Lake Maggiore- the lake west of Lake Como, is on your route. It’s a lovely place with Isola Bella, etc. to enjoy along with the beautiful promenade and elegant historical hotels. We stayed overnight there on our way from Wengen to Florence, and I have returned to stay there two more times. Then you can be in Milan the night before your flight which is always recommended.
When I went through the Milan Duomo, I just purchased the ticket at the building next door. I took the metro a couple of places, and it was inexpensive.

Only you can determine iff a pass of some sort is beneficial
Look up the sights you want to visit
Add up the costs
Does the pass cover them all and if so what sort of discount?
Most likely not worth it
Your trip to Lake Como wouldn’t be covered on any pass
That’s a regional train
I like Jean’s suggestion of stopping in Stresa
Duomo tickets here you choose the options you want

we are booked in Milan already. We check out of Wengen air B&B and check in to Milans, so well need to get to the air b&b by a certain time. i guess my main question was if the transportation is expensive, I heard the taxis are.
So you need to figure out how to get from Centrale to your Airbnb?
Put Airbnb address into Google maps
Then get directions from Milano Centrale
Metro
Tram
Bus or taxi
Your choice
Have you read thru the Milan Transportation link?
Have you looked at a metro map?
You can take metro to Linate.
Just buy your metro/tram ticket as you go
They are cheap
Figure how many times you’ll need to take metro or tram
Where is your Airbnb?
Maybe you’ll be walking to sights you want to see
You’re only in Milan 1 day, 1 evening.
RS covers all this in his Italy guide book
thank you!
We are staying close to the center, near Navigli.
