We end our Cruise and it ports in Ravenna. Any tips and advise on best way to get from cruise ship port in Ravenna to Venice. We are a large group of 50 . Any tips and advise would be much appreciated .
The cruise line offers no transport service?
If you are a large group of 50 my suggestion is to rent a coach.
The advice to charter a bus seems excellent. I hope you are working with some sort of travel agency with a group this big.
It's a lot of trouble to rent your own bus. If you're a group of 50, did a travel agent do your reservations? If so, he/she could/should help with this. If not, talk directly with the cruise line. If you booked in a block they may be willing to help, depending on the line. In this case, call them directly, hopefully with the primary agent who coordinated the bookings. For the amount of $$ your group is spending, I wouldn't hesitate at all to push them a little to help you. Failing that, do yourselves a favor and take the cruise line's port transfer.
I selected 3 names in the area in the Italian Yellow pages. Maybe your travel agent can make arrangements if the cruise line doesn't have something already:

Thank you all. This is very helpful tips and info. Much Appreciated!
I’d be interested in hearing what you learn. Please let us know? I’d imagine there will be scores of busses waiting. To Venice I’d guess? The port for Ravenna is new to cruising this region. Hope everything works out for your group.

It isn't in my opinion. I have to admit I've never done it in Italy but I've done it in Sweden many times and it is very easy. Send an email to a couple of bus companies and ask for a price, select one and book it.
