Hello,
I am planning to travel from Lucca to Turin, and I will have to change stations in Genoa. I know that buses and taxis are available, but just wondering if anyone has done this and has any advice or information that would be helpful! Thank you!
UPDATE: Thank you to those who responded for this information; it was very helpful! I had thought it would be interesting to go through Liguria on the way to Turin, but it looks like going via Florence and Milan is easier.
Where are you looking for train information? Most trains going that way call at both Brignole and P.za Principe. Easiest would be Lucca to Torino with a single connection at Viareggio.
There are trains (5 min) throughout the day between the two stations. But it also possible to get from Genoa Brignole all the way to Turin if that's what you want.
Is there something specific you are trying to achieve here?
Otherwise the fastest and easiest way is to go Lucca to either Viareggio or Florence and then take the fast train directly to Turin. Depending on when you want to do one of these options will be the fastest for you.
Let us know if you are changing in Genoa for a specific reason and what you are trying to do there and maybe someone can help.
Good luck,

There are plenty of solutions with just one change at either Viareggio or Firenze (Florence).
I don’t know where you are looking at.
There are two railway tunnels joining the stations, and trains between them are fairly frequent; the train transfer is the fastest one. Also a metro line runs between the stations through the center but it takes more time. - But, as everybody has said, a lot of trains call at both stations, try to find a travel solution that involves no change.
