We are planning to be in Genoa for the festival both Friday night and Saturday. I read that, because it's a religious festival, many people take the day off from work. Does this mean that the museums and attractions will be closed Saturday? What about restaurants and shopping? We just want to make sure we're planning to to see and do what we want on the appropriate days. Any tips on seeing the bonfire (Fri) or parade (Sat) music, games, or other festival activities are welcome!
