Has anyone stayed here? We are taking the train from Switzerland. Thought we might stay here for a few nights on the way to Nice, France where we have booked a condo.
Or any suggestions of places to stay along that rail route?

We spent three days in Genoa in 2006 and loved it. Great architecture, palaces and an interesting old town.

Thanks Steve. Would you take that over Venice? We have been to Venice before so thought Genoa or somewhere along that route might be different.
