I will be in Spoleto next summer, but it will be hard to top the gelateria on via Santa Cristina in Bolsena!

Great article! Thanks! Has anyone been to the gelateria in Spoleto mentioned in the link? I'm not sure if the one I visited is THE one that won...but if memory serves: it's a gelateria/bar/caffe' and you enter on quite a steep street, then walk through and exit through the bar/caffe' part of it which exits onto a parallel steep street. I actually had a scoop of pistachio there (which is the flavour that won first place, according to the article).
What if you don't particularly like pistachio?
Then I guess you need to try ALL the other flavors ... Tough job, but somebody's gotta do it.
