Wanted desperately to tour food products in Parma but it just wont work out this trip. Can we see the same type of products from a Rome day trip? Thanks

You might want to check out the Italy board on www.chowhound.com I got some great information from those folks on cooking classes and did note that there was information about food tours in Rome. Maureen Fant runs a couple of gastronomy tours through Context Travel (one example in link below)
