Preparing to go to Tuscany next month with a friend who has never been to Italy, and has no preference where we go. Having already been multiple times, I would like to see something different and came across Gargonza, but unable to find out much about it, other than that there is a hotel there. Anyone familiar with Gargonza?
Not a real living town, but it gets good reviews as a resort, especially if you bring a fiancé. "Gargonza is actually a small, medieval town that has been turned completely into a resort. It's charming -- stone walls, olive trees, a beautiful view....." https://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g737116-d315023-Reviews-Il_Castello_di_Gargonza-Monte_San_Savino_Province_of_Arezzo_Tuscany.html
