Rick's book as well as the official Galleria Borghese web site all note closed on Mondays; however, thru the on-line booking I was allowed to purchase tickets for Monday, April 2 (not realizing it was monday). Looking at the numbers of tickets available, quite a few tickets have been sold that day. Sent email to the address on web site but it bounced back. Anyone have any idea?

Their website is now selling tickets on Mondays. It's not open as long as it is the rest of the week (1-7 instead of 9-7) but you can purchase tickets and visit on Mondays. Donna
