My family is considering a trip to Formia between Christmas and New Years. This is my father's hometown, and we'd incorporate some visits with relatives and tours of the local sites that were a part of his childhood. Obviously we won't be able to experience the town as a seaside resort, but the timing just works out that we can only all go together in the winter. Convince me we will find things to do! Since we'd have my parents who are 80+ with us, we'd stay in Formia as a home base, but can include some train or taxi/uber day trips. Interested in religious sites, holiday festivities, wine tasting, etc. Not an overabundance of walking/steps at once. Thank you!
