The most rollicking good time meal I've ever had in my life was at Dario Cecchini's Officina della Bistecca restaurant in Panzano, Tuscany. We went in a party of 6 and had a table in front of the grills with a group of 8 celebrating Kiwis on one side and a group of 6 lively young Italians on the other. Dario was in full form and the meat and wine and the infectious conviviality made for an indelible memory. It's true that not everyone has their desired experience there, but when it works, it really works. There are a zillion articles, I would just be sure your information is up-to-date and accurate as Dario has 5 establishments and he's been generating press for a long time.
