Anybody have great experience with a day tour bus to (Naples)/Pompeii? I'm looking for one, but they all seem to go to the same "Cameo" store and "lunch" place. Are they any good?

Are you looking for an actual guided tour, or just a "ride" to Pompeii? We've been looking at a shuttle service through Viator that takes you the Scavi, drops you off then returns you back to Rome. It's 60 euro a person. I'm also looking at Rick's directions for making the trip via train through Naples. We're travelling with friends who've never been to Italy and we may not be able to go with them (in which case the Viator trip for them is the fall back0 or if we all go together then we'll do the trip in Rick's Rome book.

Thank you for your helping. I shecked Viator out, but they don't do that particular tour on Sundays.
