Good Day. Following Rick Steves advice in the Italy 2014 guide I today (twice) attempted to phone Borghese Gallery to get confirmation number to visit on April 30, using Roma Card. I was using a calling card. Each time I was placed in a queue for 20 minutes or so, when I got to number one, I heard automated voice saying "due to heavy call volume we cannot process your request. Call back later." Why don't they tell you this BEFORE you hold on for 20 minutes? It seems like a frequent problem. Why don't they let you make on-line reservations for Roma Pass use?? Don't know what to do now. Neville

Today (April 21) is Easter Monday. They are probably closed today.

And if you check Rick's book you will see that the Borghese Gallery is closed on all Mondays.
