From Verona - Vicenza, Padua or Lake Garda

Any preferences? We have a day and one half to spend in the area. Not sure if Verona will take much time to cover.

Note we will be there Sunday and Monday

Verona will take the best part of a day. How many nights are you staying and where are you coming from? If you can get there early on Sunday, maybe you can cover Verona on Sunday.
Lake Garda will take all day if you want to visit the north lake, which I prefer, and visit Malcesine and Limone (by boat from Malcesine). If you limit yourself to Sirmione, you can make do with less time.
If you prefer to go east, either Padua or Vicenza should take less than a day, but once you add the travel time...Still you can probably hit both Padua and Vicenza on the same trip. Start with Padua first, which IMO is more important, unless you love Palladio, then if you have time, stop at Vicenza on the way back to Verona.

Soave is a fun little town near there with a wall and a somewhat famous grape product.

A number of beautiful and historic Palladian properties are in the immediate vicinity of Vicenza but many require a car.

If you do have a car there is the studio and burial place of Cannova east of Vicenza and north of Padua, in the countryside. I happen to like his works so spent about 3 hours there. Not on everybody's radar. It is cool to see some original works, some copies but mostly plaster duplicates of all his works. Some paintings and sculpture too. In the original building.
