We will need to purchase tickets from Santa Maria, though Verona to Reutte in Austria at the end of May. We're thinking of purchasing tickets during our stay in Italy, but would like to do it before the morning of our departure from Venice. I like to work a bit ahead and avoid the stress. Any advice here would be much appreciated.

There are a lot of Santa Marias in Italy and I don't know which yours is. Are you planning to catch the train at Padova or Venice Mestre? You can buy the tickets at any staffed train station or some travel agencies (in Venice, for instance) also sell train tickets.

Thanks--sorry, we're traveling from Venice S.L. to Austria--too many things in my head when I posted! Thanks for the advice. We may purchase our tickets when we first arrive in Venice so we have it taken care of. :-)
