Can anyone tell me how often the tram to the Santa Maria delle Grazie passes from the duomo? or the metro? I want to be sure to allow myself enough time, but still maximize my time at the duomo. Thanks!

I don't have Rick's Italy book handy right now but am thinking he gives details about this exact thing(or maybe I'm mistaken). I do remember that with just his book I was able to take the metro from the Duomo, get off where he said, and walk 5 to 10 minutes and I was there. I recommend having a good walking map and small compass for walking around Milan, the tall buildings and streets that aren't in a grid pattern make it easy to get lost on foot.
