I am surprise that I could not find the properly tour for going to directly to Cinque Terre without hiking. I prefer walk around surround by building and beach. Relaxing that what I want. Do you have any information from Florence to Cinque Terre ?
fsg89, you do not need a tour for the Cinque Terre: you can go there on your own by train, and use trains to travel between the villages. In fact, they've added special train service from Rome/Florence to La Spezia - where you change trains to travel to the CT - just for Jubilee Year (with thanks to Roberto for this previous post):
I am checking the train. It seem no available on June 22 for round trip.
That is because they have not scheduled the regional trains yet for after June 12. This happens twice a year in June and December, and every time, they go down to the last minute. Its an Italian thing. Don't worry. Just look at the train schedule for the same day of the week you intend to travel in the next 7 days. Probably will not change at all. Check again in June when they should finally have the schedules announced.
fsg,
As Sam mentioned, the schedules past June 12 have not been finalized yet or uploaded to the website. Choose a date within the next week, on the same day-of-the-week that you'll be travelling and that should provide you with a good idea of the schedules.
That trip is fairly straight forward, but you will have to deal with one or more train changes (often at Pisa Centrale and La Spezia Centrale). If any of the trains you'll be using are Regionale, you MUST validate the tickets prior to boarding the train on the day of travel, or you'll risk hefty fines.
