Friends of Uffizi pass

Has anyone ever bought this Friends of Uffizi pass (see http://www.florenceforfun.org/index.php?lng=1&id=31) which allows free admission to the state museums in Florence. Long story, but my husband and I have been given memberships kind of as a gift, but I'm trying to figure out if you can make reservations at the Uffizi and Accademia with them, and if so, how. No response yet from the website cited above, so I'm calling on your collective wisdom.

You do not need to make reservations at the Uffizi or Accademia with the Friends of the Uffizi pass. The pass allows you to by pass all the lines and simply enter at the front. Show the guard your card and identification (names matching) and they will let you enter.

I had the Uffizi pass while I was a student in Florence. Great way to get into all the sites and not have to wait in any lines!!
