Does anyone have experience, good or bad, with FREENOW?

We used it in Rome in November and it worked fine. It's importent to be in an accessible location that they can drive to - not always the case in Rome.
We had a case of a no-show after exiting the Vatican Museums on a rainy Friday night - we could watch on the app as it attempted to connect to a driver - it tried many times - We ended up taking the 23 bus back to Trastevere. But I believe it was just a case of too much demand on a rainy night.
