We are fortunate enough to be in Rome this year during The Free week of culture. Since all the archeologic and museums(not the vatican) sites are open free of charge, how do we get a pass ahead of time for example to the Borghesse Museums?
For the Borghese you must still call for a reservation. They still have a limited amount of spaces for each 2 hour session so book ahead of time. For the other sites, you won't be able to book entry times or tickets for Culture week. They will give you a ticket when you enter, to keep track of admissions for the day, but you can't pay for entry so there are no passes available. Donna
Many thanks
