Free Walking Tours in Rome

I've not taken the Free Walking Tour in Rome, however I've taken them in Budapest and Prague. The tour guides are excellent--working for tips.

If they offer a nightlife tour (for a fee), by all means take it. They'll show you the off the beaten path restaurants and bars and show you a very good time.

Rick has free walking tours in his books that i've used before.
