Hello, My husband and I will be in Parma July 11-12 and contacted the Parma collective about doing a free tour at 8am on Friday, July 12th. They said that they need more than 2 people to schedule the tour. It is completely free and in English. Would anyone else like to do this? This is the info I was sent. VISITING A PARMIGIANO-REGGIANO DAIRY: 1. our visits start at the cheese-factory at 08.15 a.m. (maximum) each morning from Monday to Friday, no weekends nor holydays tours are available; 2. visits last about two hours, You'll be shown the whole working process from the real production of the cheese to the ageing process; 3. we generally require reservations for groups of at least 10 people; 4. usually our experts do guide visits, but in case of foreign guests we do have the availability of English-speaking interpreters specialised in this kind of visits (this service is free of charge); 5. visits are completely free of charge; 6. we usually advice groups to sleep in Parma or around Parma so as to facilitate both You and us in organising the tour; 7. if sleeping in Parma, please do contact our office telling the Hotel name, this will help us to plan the tour accordingly; 8. for those visits occurring in the period from March to June we suggest groups to book at least one month before; 9. we usually suggest to wear sneakers or shoes with rubber soles (it might be wet inside the dairy), and casual clothing;
