I have a problem. I wanted to get early pricing, so I went online and purchased two tickets for May 13th going from Venezia S. Lucia station to Firenze Santa Maria Novella station. I did not have a printer with me, so I could not print the ticket, but I wasn't worried because I know you receive a confirmation by email, except I have not receive one! My credit card took has the charge, so I know it is booked. I wrote down the seat number and my "CP" code but I apparently did not write down the confirmation number. I have sent two emails to Trentatalia, one the responses said that yes, sometimes a confirmation email is not received. So, do I just board the train with no documentation or is there a way I can get the confirmation number? Thanks for your ideas.
An easy way to retrieve the information is to just log in with the information from when you registered and look at recent purchases. Its all there.
I would not board without a ticket Orr you may face a steep fine as well as paying a higher price for the fare. Here is a link that may help. Try the link for changing a ticket. You just need your email address and the PNR (CP?). If this work, you can get the confirmation code and print the ticket. http://www.trenitalia.com/cms/v/index.jsp?vgnextoid=72519a606a25e210VgnVCM1000003f16f90aRCRD
Debra, read through this blog post from the ever-fabulous RonInRome.com! (ignore the ads; keep scrolling!): "I purchased a ticket in the website and I did not get my PNR code." Good luck.
