I will be arriving in Rome early in the morning on October 10, 2018. I would like to make an advance reservation for the Borghese Gallery. When I go to purchase a Roma Pass online I am told I have to pick it up at a select site when I arrive, or buy it in person when I arrive. The Roma Pass covers admission to the Borghese Gallery. How can I make an advance reservation for the Borghese Gallery if I do not have an actual Roma Pass in my posession?

You must call them to make a reservation and tell them that you will have a Roma Pass.

For the Borghese Gallery and Palazzo Valentini (Domus Romane), the ticket reservation is required, but free for Roma Pass 72 Hours and/or Roma Pass 48 Hours holders, since the museum allows a limited number of visitors. Reservations are not required for any other museums, though it is highly recommended that school or tourist groups make reservations, in order to facilitate entry to museums.

Please note: for reservations to the Borghese Gallery and/or Domus Romane/Palazzo Valentini, please call +39 06 32810 (open Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm – Saturdays, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm) or send an email to [email protected].

Bookings can be made directly from the visitor’s home country, even before purchasing the card.

For reservations by email, booking confirmations will be provided within 48 hours.

It is highly recommended to book at least 10 days in advance. You can make a reservation even if you are not in possession of your Roma Pass card yet, always providing the name of the Roma Pass holder.
