Has anyone had any experience staying at Francesca 1 in Manarola via the website A Casa Cinque Terre (www.acasa5terre.it)? Wondering what the thoughts were on this property and if you would recommend staying in Manarola vs. Vernazza as finding a terrace with a sea view in Vernazza is next to impossible for the time of year we are traveling. Thanks!

I love staying in Manarola. My view was of the neighboring hillside, with vineyards and an old lady feeding her (not pet) rabbits. You can be out enjoying the views all day, but hotels may also have a terrace where all guests can relax.

I do not have experience at that specific establishment, but I second Laura's endorsement of Manarola. Peaceful at night, some great restaurants.
