Found a great (free) way to study Italian

I work with special needs teens in a high school. This semester all of the students in the high school were given an iPad to use. While searching for free apps or websites to load on their iPads I came across Quizlet. You can browse their library of flashcard sets that have been created by others or create your own. Once you have selected or created the sets of flashcards you want to study you have several options such as... Seeing one side of a flashcard and then flipping to the opposite side. You can also enable audio and hear the words spoken. Take site generated tests (matching, multiple choice, etc.)
*Play site generated games I used the RS Italian Phrase Book & Dictionary to generate sets to study. Since the sets are saved on the website I can log in and quiz myself when I have a few minutes throughout the day.

Thanks for the tip! I use "livemocha.com" it's $10 a month, and you speak, read, and listen, and a native speaker will comment and give pointers. You might want to try that also.

Hi Leia! I also just discovered Quizlet through my son who is studying French in High School. It is an amazing program. What a great idea to input the RS Italian Phrase Book and Dictionary in it!!! I will have to do the same to prep for my upcoming June trip! Thanks for the idea!
