Forio, Ischia to Minori

I am progressing with plans for my 12 nights in Italy with the help of this forum. 4 nights each in Ischia, Minori and Naples. Looking at options for getting from Forio to Minori. This would be very early October.

Ferry Forio to Naples, then bus to Minori?
Ferry to Naples, then ferry to Minori?
Ferry to Naples, train to Salerno, bus to Minori?

I feel like a bus from Naples to Minori would be my least favorite. Anyone have any ideas?

You might also take the ferry from Ischia Porto to Capri and then from Capri to Minori, so the only bus would be on Ischia.

Or ferry to Naples and then to Minori, avoiding buses.

Thanks! I'll look into the ferry through Capri. I can think of worse things than a few hours on the water!

That's what Ii thought!!!

When we went to Ischia, we had planned to spend 5 days there and two on Capri. We liked Ischia so much that we ended up cancelling Capri at the last minute, even though I had to pay for a night's stay there, I think we made the right decision. I hope you have a time as wonderful as we did on the island.

We have a similar question but will be traveling from Ischia to Minori in August. Given how crowded it will be, we are hoping to avoid buses and are looking into taking the ferry from Ischia to Amalfi and then from Amalfi to Minori. Maybe the ferries will be less crowded than the buses?

One of the best options would be to take the ferry from Ischia Porto to Capri, spend a few hours there, and then take a ferry from Capri to Minori.

I recommend checking out Ferryhopper — they have a great multi-destination option in their search that makes planning these kinds of routes much easier.

ekscrunchy - I'm soooo excited! Ischia has been on my list forever!

ahs - I have heard the busses can be brutal in the summer months.

elarakael - Brilliant! I will look into this. Great way to spend that time between check-out and check-in. Thanks for the Ferryhopper rec. Looks like a ton of info.
