Football Game - When/where to buy tickets

We would like to go to the football game Udine vs Juventus in May 2020. How soon should we buy our tickets and where? We will only be in that city the day of the game so will need to buy them online. Stubhub has them for sale 159 euros for ‘tribuna distini’ seats. From what I’ve read that is a big home in price? Also, we want to sit with the home team. Is the tribuna distini a home team’s section on the side?

I’m sure you could find tickets even on the same day. In any case this is the official website for online purchases. It’s too early now for purchasing that game.

This is the map of the stadium

The rowdiest fans of Udinese stay in the Curva Nord. The distinti will have however mostly local fans, just not the hooligans.

Thank you for the information and the links. Do you know anything about parking at the stadium. Is it similar to parking at an NFL stadium? And, can you bring food or drinks into the stadium? From what I read, refreshments are minimal inside the stadium.?

Food should be ok.
Beverages in bottles and cans are not allowed (they can be used as weapon to launch on the field, like a rock).
Plenty of parking is available at the Dacia Arena. However the Juve is in town, and that might attract more cars than usual. Go early.

Can you tell me what the average price would be for tickets for the side seats in the stadium?

I don’t know about Udine, but when the Juve plays against Fiorentina in Florence, tickets start at 50€ on the curves, while along the sides go around 80-120€ in the non covered stands (Called Maratona in Florence).
The covered stands on the sides (called Tribuna) start at 120€ and go as high as 300€ for the VIP seats.
The Dacia Arena in Udine is a much newer stadium, practically all covered, so I would expect prices to be at least as much.

I don't know if the stadium will be packed, or if you can buy tickets the day of, but bear in mind that if the game is rescheduled then you will likely not receive a refund from the online seller if you are unable to attend the game on the alternate date.

Thank you for the information. I appreciate it. Is it rare that a game is rescheduled?

The game is rescheduled only for snow or excessive rain (both very rare in May). However a game scheduled for a certain weekend may take place on Saturday or Sunday.
