Food Walking Tours in Rome

Has anyone done one? We have two extra days in Rome before our Rick Steves tour starts and I'd like to do one but am having a hard time choosing one. Has anyone been on one or can recommend one?

Thank you

We had a very good experience with eatingitalyfoodtours.com's Twilight Trestavere food tour. I would highly recommend it for the range of places visited, the quality of the food and wine, the quality of the guide, and the amount we learned about that fascinating neighborhood.

I can second the Twilight Trastavere tour by EatingItaly. I’ve done several of their tours and this was the best, though I found them all worthwhile. I can seem expensive, but I feel it’s a great value based on the length and overall quality of the tour. It’s a unique experience you could not manufacture on your own. I recommend doing this early in your stay as well, so you can put your experience to good use!

I third Twilight Trastevere tour from Eat Italy. It was one of the best food tours we've ever taken. You won't be disappointed!

And I enjoyed their Testaccio food tour during the day. Interesting neighbourhood way off the tourist scene and amazing food (and wine).

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the eating italy food tours. We also took the one for Testaccio and enjoyed it so much! Lots of food, lots of drink, lots of information. We booked online. I can't recommend them highly enough.
