Food walking tour in Bologna

Hi..we will be in Bologna for one day...a day tour from our agriturismo near Florence. My husband wants to do the Ducati tour in the morning and I want to do a food walking tour in the afternoon.

Does anyone have any recommedations?

Thanks,

Here's a website on food tours of Bologna http://www.slowtrav.com/italy/notes/food/ck_bologna.htmTo have time for your food tour in the afternoon, your husband will have to book a Ducati tour that does not also include Ferrari and Lamborghini. I haven't done those tours and can't make a recommendation.Rick doesn't describe Bologna in detail. Here's a website http://goeurope.about.com/od/bologna/ss/bologna_pics.htmHere's a link to a prior discussion here last year http://www.ricksteves.com/graffiti/helpline/index.cfm/rurl/topic/17362/bologna.html.Restaurant tip: Da Bertino is an old-fashioned traditional trattoria with a loyal local following, which I believe was enjoyed recently by Ron, the Helpline's "Rome correspondent."Not to miss cultural sights (you may not have the time):
the Maesta by Cimabue in Santa Maria dei Servi
the Torre PendentiBasilica di Santo Stefano
