I heard that the " Eating Italy" tour was fantastic; however, it is closed during the four days (August 16 - 19) we will be in Rome. Does anyone know of or can anyone recommend a comparable/similar food tour for us?

Thanks, Michael, for the links...and well wishes. The opportunity presented itself, and we couldn't resist! With such a short time in each city, I'm hoping there will be plenty of things to experience....as for those that are closed...there's my excuse to return! After reading blogs and reviews, I was disappointed that the Eating Italy Tour was closed for two weeks, but not surprised.
