I'm looking for recs for food tours in Bologna and Parma. Due to our travel schedules, we need to do a tour in Bologna that is limited to the city itself; for the one in Parma we'd like one that is more in the countryside (prosciutto, parmesan cheese, balsamic producers, etc). Any tours that you all have loved?
I did the full day tour with my son 5 years ago or so, best experience ever in Italy with Italian Days. We were STUFFED and treated like royalty. Super great guide, full of great information.
They have a 4 hour tour just in Bologna.... I highly recommend this company !

This past September, I went on the evening food tour with Delicious Bologna and really enjoyed it!

Another vote for Italian Days- we’ve taken their tour twice in about five years and both were fabulous. You start early (7:30) with a pickup near your lodging and return between 3-5 pm, with stops at Parmigiano and prosciutto producers as well as a family run balsamic vinegar producer, with substantial tastings, a breakfast and a multi course lunch. And lots of wine! You’re taken by small van into the countryside to these various places. You’ll probably skip dinner and just have a gelato after all the food and wine which is offered. Highly recommend this tour!
We enjoyed tour using With Locals.
