Food kids like in Tuscany

We've planned a 25-person family reunion in Tuscany. There are three 6-yr-olds, a couple of 3-yr olds. I know they're going to find some differences in the food that they may have trouble with. Adults can cope, children have more difficulty. I've heard the milk tastes different. Is that so? Any suggestions for great snack food and drinks that can substitute for that dinner that makes the kids turn green?

Kids should feel like they landed in pasta heaven :-) That's not really a snack but a great option to be found on any menu. Pizza is NOT on every menu so if they kids want it make sure you select the restaurant accordingly.

Great drinks: orangina, lemonade

Snack: fruit! lots of fresh fruit available. We had a mini family reunion with 6 people and always snacked on water melon while lounging at the pool.

With Pizza, pasta, gelato and great candies they should fair OK. Yes milk is stronger tasting, perhaps adding water would help.

My kids lived on pizza and gelato the entire time we were in Italy. They didn't want anything else.

Pizza Margarita is essentially a cheese pizza.

Pizza Salame is most like a pepperoni pizza. If you ask for pepperoni, you will get the hot green peppers (small with seeds, not bell peppers) that you often see on nachos.
