I was at Trevi fountain mid - late morning today, and so was everybody else, just as busy as ever. Guards are stationed at both ends of the walkway over the fountain, allowing only a certain number of people on the walkway at a time.
People have found a new foto op at Trevi. The bridge puts us near to those magnificent winged horses, offering new opportunities to make memorable fotos.
So the walkway goes fairly slow; nobody wants to rush friends and family making fotos of a lifetime.
Everybody was laughing and having a good time. Signs are posted everywhere Not to throw coins from the walkway. There is a small place on the street where we can throw coins in a pool some yards in front of us. Some people actually miss the pool. I didn't miss.
I'm glad I went back to Trevi. It may be dry, but everybody still loved being there, making Trevi as enchanting as ever.
