Is the costruction on the Fontana dei Fiumi in the Piazza Navona complete? Has the scaffolding been removed? We'll be there in mid-April and hope to see this beautiful fountain again.

Tony, I was just there in February and it was complete. You should be fine for April.

But sadly Google Earth pictures are not real time. And because Piazza Navona is pedestrian only, there are no StreetView captures of the fountain. (I saw a posting on another website where someone was claiming that the Japanese were faking the tsunami because Google Earth shows that everything is fine.) What you need is a webcam. Thanks, Michael. You are right. GoogleEarth didn't quite cut it but the webcam was perfect. We can't wait to see the fountain after the restoration.
