I am trying to get tix for the rooftop at Tedeschi in Venice. I’ve done it in past years, but now every single date and time shows as”0” availability. Ive tried different computers and search engines. I’ve contacted the store to no avail. I’m traveling with a group who have never been to Venice and I’d love to show them this marvelous sight! Can anyone shed light on this?
We visited the rooftop in May…the reservation times are released about three weeks in advance and fill up very quickly. They seem to become available in the early morning hours (Italian time), so late afternoon on the previous day here on the west coast. This tip was posted last year from Lola (thanks, Lola!), and with her suggestion, we were able to get a reservation in the mid-afternoon, although a later time would have been lovely. Do go through the www.dfs.com website. We’re taking friends next year, and plan to share that beautiful view with them as well, Good luck!
Cathy described the process perfectly. The tix are released 3 weeks in advance, in early morning Italy time (like 1-2 am). That means it is still the previous date in the US, sometime in the afternoon depending on your time zone. They have 50 tix available for each 15-minute time slot, with the last at 5:45.
I am in Italy now and I just checked. It is 7:45 am here, on Sept. 24. The time slots for Tuesday, October 15 were released earlier this morning and there are none left for afternoon slots after 3:15. But there are plenty of timeslots remaining for earlier—-like 49 for 2:15: others between noon and 3:00 have 30-40 remaining.
So you just have to be ready to book on the correct date, checking from 1 am Italian time to catch them when they are first released. You can only book 5 tix at a time, but I had no trouble getting 8 tix in two separate bookings. I do not know if they have a limit on multiple bookings after two.
