flying Venice to Seville, Spain. train to Venona airport?

Going from Verona might not be a bad plan. There is a Regionale Veloce at 12 past the hour that will get you to Verona Porta Nuova in 1 hour and 27 minutes for 8.85 EUR and then the 199 bus every 20 minutes to the airport. Bus ticket is 6 EUR.

Thanks. Do you know how early the trains leave Venice? And is it fairly easy to get to the airport bus in Verona train station? Would a cab be better since the bus is every 20 minutes? The flight from Verona to Seville leaves around 9 am I think.

Hi. For train schedules, see trenitalia.com. For random day I picked, it looks like there is train leaving Venezia S Lucia at 5:40 arrive Verona at 6:50. Might work, but seems like a lot of hassle and extra risk to avoid one airplane stop. Enjoy your trip!

Looks like you are shooting for the Friday Ryanair flight at 9:45, so you should spring for the Freccia 5:40 departure. You can get a SuperEconomy ticket for 14.90 EUR when they go on sale. The airport bus goes at 10, 30, 50 past the hour. Since you arrive at 6:50, that should give you enough time to buy a ticket at the station news stand and walk to the bus station and get the 7:10 bus. The bus station is to your right exiting the station across the street. You'll see the multiple lanes with roofs over the platforms. Ride time is 15 minutes, so you should be at the airport by 7:25.

This is amazing, Sam. Thank you! Just hoping it won't be so super stressful if anything goes wrong! Just don't know if I should just take an Iberia airlines flight instead, right from Venice. (though I don't even know how far the Venice airport is from where i will be staying so that is a consideration!) Decisions....
