Flying to Rome on to Palermo

This flight won’t be til April, but we’ll need to make flight reservations soon. We are booked LAS (Las Vegas) to FCO via LHR on British Airways. At this point I am assuming we’ll need a PCR to board flight and will make sure I know where in town to get one. Where my question lies is this: We arrive in Rome at 22:00 (10:00 pm). I don’t believe there are flights that late to Palermo,so the plan was to overnight at FCO and get a flight to Palermo the next day. We delayed booking that flight until Alitalia got reorganized. Now I’m realizing that we should know how/where to get a test before getting the Palermo flight and how much time to allow to get it done. Any helpful hints? I do know this is 5 months away, but it’s better to know my options ahead.

Currently, I do not believe there is a requirement to test for a domestic flight within Italy. Of course who knows what requirements will be 5 months from now. You do need your CDC card as a green pass to board the flight though.

If testing is required, any Pharmacy (well most) can do it, or there is a test center at the airport.

Thank you so much! All the info I needed - considered a domestic flight and testing available at the airport should do it.
