Flying home to U.S. out of Venice--various logistics questions

Hello everybody,

I have no experience with the Venice airport and am wondering about how much time to allot, especially given the various airport staffing difficulties. If flying from Venice at 12:15 pm (to U.S., via Dublin on the same ticket), when would you suggest getting to the airport? I'll have checked in ahead of time, but don't know for sure if I'll be checking a bag.

Two hours should be sufficient but check what your airline recommends.

Ireland is part of the EU but NOT a Schengen member.

Check for what your airline recommends, but this may be the ' 3 hrs for international flights' situation, as you will have to do Schengen exit processing.
